Van Dyke Family Christmas Party

After talking with some of the cousins....we've that there's a need for more family get-togethers! So we decided to bring back the Van Dyke Christmas Party this year! Because we seldomly see each other (maybe once or twice a year tops) like we used to on Christmas night, let's take this opportunity to renew friendships and spend a few hours together. Called To Serve!!!

Garrett has been called to serve in the Canada Edmonton Mission and he is to report to the MTC Dec. 10th.

Congratulations Garrett, We are so proud of you and your decision to serve the Lord. We love you!

Update on Grandpa

Gramper fell getting out of the shower about a week ago, but is doing better. Yesterday he was playing Bingo with the group and Ed and the fam took him to get a hamburger. He has been pretty down from falling (and sore), but he is getting better everyday. He has a whirlpool tub at his place and likes soaking in it.

He likes to take rides to Aggie Ice Cream, Gossners Cheese, Smithfield Implement, Pepperidge Farms, Blubird Candy Co. and any hamburger joint.

If he feels well enough Friday, Seth has a Football Game and he likes to go them. Mimi and Rjahfi and Sophia are coming up to see him on Friday afternoon.

BYU plays USU Fri. October 3rd. Ed said he was sure Grandpa would like to go if anybody can get tickets, he'll buy.

Grandpa's Latest Outing

Grandpa went to Seth's football game yesterday at Green River, WY. He did great, and enjoyed the ride. They stopped in Kemmerer to eat dinner and passed Bear Lake and he enjoyed Logan Canyon.
